Brow, 35, played his last game for Celtic today away to Hibernian, where he started his career.

Brown’s imminent transfer to Aberdeen will end a 14-year spell with Celtic, in which he has won 22 trophies and led his side to Nine-in-a-Row and a Quadruple Treble.

Tierney said it had been an “honour” to play with Brown and to call him “a friend for life”.

Glasgow Times:

Current Leicester City boss Rodgers said Brown was “absolutely amazing” for him throughout his tenure in Glasgow.

Sinclair, who was part of Celtic’s Invincibles side of 2016/17, said it was a “pleasure” to make history with Brown.
