Glasgow Times readers have picked their Celtic player of the year 2020/21.

It has not been the best of seasons for Hoops fans and their star men who did not show up often enough in big games - and indeed against the so-called smaller clubs, either.

Rivals Rangers smashed the Celts by a 25 point margin to seal their first Premiership title in 10 years.

Of the squad, Kris Ajer, Moi Elyounoussi, David Turnbull and Odsonne Edouard were all available to choose from for our readers.

Glasgow Times:

And Celtic fans opted for their shining light, David Turnbull, in our online vote.

Turnbull took some time to establish himself at the beginning of the season but became the club's best player with 10 goals in 39 appearances.

He also provided a helping hand with a number of assists for his side and won with a staggering 63 percent of the vote.

Ajer, 23, came second with 23 percent while Elyounoussi took 11 percent and top scorer Edouard only managed three percent of the total from fans.

Congratulations David Turnbull!
