CELTIC have issued a statement detailing their preparations for the upcoming season.

The club will travel to Wales from July 5-14 for a nine-day training camp ahead of the 2020/21 season and also face David Moyes’ West Ham at Celtic Park later in the month.

Glasgow Times:

While in Wales, Celtic will play three matches against English opposition behind closed doors. They face Bristol City, Charlton and will play another match with opposition yet to be confirmed while south of the border.

Before facing West Ham at Celtic Park, a match that will proceed their UEFA Champions League qualifying match on July 20/21, Preston North End will travel to Glasgow on July 17.

Still without a manager following the departure of Neil Lennon earlier this year, Celtic endured one of their most disappointing campaigns in recent history last term by finishing 25-points behind Rangers.

Last season makes pre-season imperative as they aim to wrestle back bragging rights in Scotland.
