Celtic's route to next season's Champions League group stages has been revealed.

The Hoops will face a tough task to land a spot in the tournament after finishing second in the Scottish Premiership this season.

The Parkhead outfit will enter Champions League qualifying at the second round where they will be seeded. At this stage they could face Galatasaray, FC Midtjylland or Rapid Vienna.

If Celtic are to progress, and assuming all the seeded teams do too, the Hoops then could face Genk, PSV Eindhoven, Spartak Moscow or Sparta Prague in third round qualifying.

A victory would then see the Glasgow outfit into the play-off round of the Champions League, but the ties don't get any easier. Celtic would be unseeded and, if all the seeded teams win their previous round, would likely play Shakhtar, Benfica or Monaco.

A win in second round qualifying for the Champions League would guarentee Celtic a Europa League campaign, but defeat would see them turn out in the newly formed Europa Conference League.
