David Marshall 6

Smart early save to keep the scores level. Didn't see much more action after that.

Stephen O'Donnell 6

Most of the attacking was done down the left but never stopped making himself an option. Terrific delivery for Dykes' disallowed goal. Subbed.

Declan Gallagher 5

Probably the quietest shift he's had in a Scotland shirt. Replaced at half-time.

Grant Hanley 6

Got on the end of a couple of corners but couldn't get enough purpose on any header to cause problems. Like the rest of the defence he was largely untested, especially after opposition red card.

Kieran Tierney 7

Given the freedom to get forward after Robertson went off but had been doing so anyway. Put in plenty of dangerous deliveries.

Andy Robertson 6

Beginning to look like an attacking threat for Scotland as well as being solid defensively. Sent in a couple of very handy crosses and had plenty of energy. Rested after an hour.

Scott McTominay 6

Lost his man early doors which forced Marshall into a save but, other than that, composed. It's clear he's far more use in the midfield and his range of passing is an asset for his country.

Callum McGregor 5

Didn't have much impact on the first-half but kept the ball moving and the attacks fluid with his quick passing to the flanks for Scotland's wide men to do their business. Subbed at the break.

John McGinn 7

Took until the second-half to really get going. Kept out by two excellent saves from the goalkeeper, the second of which was an outstanding reaction.

Lyndon Dykes 7

Unlucky to see a header come back off the post in the first-half after a great leap. Provided the assist for Adams' opener and had hand in Selimovic's sending off. Had a goal ruled out, then missed a sitter. Constant nuisance to defenders.

Che Adams 7

Developing a strong partnership with Dykes alongside him and his goal came from that. It was a slick finish and smart to ensure he stayed onside. Harshly disallowed second goal. Missed a handful of chances.

Subs:

Billy Gilmour (on for McGregor, 46) 5

Didn't take long to get into the thick of the action. Ran at the defence and struck an effort on target within first few minutes. Clattered by Thill and had to be subbed off as precaution.

Scott McKenna (on for Gallagher, 46) 4

Given a run-out and had a quiet evening.

Ryan Fraser (on for Robertson, 64) 3

Didn't see much of the ball.

Nathan Patterson (on for O'Donnell, 64) 6

Full of confidence on his debut. Got forward well and defended stoutly.

James Forrest (on for Gilmour, 76) 3

Came on when Scotland were comfortable.

Kevin Nisbet (on for Dykes, 82) 2

Didn't trouble the goalie after coming off the bench.
