CHE Adams scored in his second consecutive international outing tonight to give Scotland a narrow 1-0 victory over Luxembourg in their final friendly before Euro 2020 gets underway.
The Southampton striker netted in the 27th minute after being supplied by his fellow forward Lyndon Dykes in the Stade Josy Barthel.
The 24-year-old had been on target in the Qatar 2022 qualifier against the Faroe Islands at Hampden back in March.
Steve Clarke, whose men drew 2-2 with the Netherlands in Portugal on Wednesday night, were unable to add to their tally against the minnows.
However, the victory will ensure their confdence is high when they take on the Czech Republic in their opening Group D match at Hampden a week tomorrow.
Clarke handed Rangers right back Nathan Patterson, who had missed the meeting with the Dutch after John Fleck had tested positive for Covid-19, his Scotland debut in the second-half.
Billy Gilmour, the Chelsea midfielder, impressed after replacing Callum McGregor after half-time, but he had to go off injured for the last 15 minutes after a bad challenge by Olivier Thill.
