The Tartan Army would consider a win over England at the Euros as better than their wedding day.

That's according to a survey ahead of the tournament kicking off this week.

Scotland square off against the Auld Enemy on June 18 and the nation would love nothing more than getting one over on Gareth Southgate and the Three Lions.

Research undertaken by bettingexpert.com proves 29 percent of 1000 punters would rank a win higher than marrying their loved ones.

Of course, the birth of their first child is the highest ranked milestone in our Tartan Army's lives at 42 percent. A spokesperson for the betting company said: “Success for England may lie in the later stages of the tournament - but for Scotland it’s all about their clash against England and our survey shows victory for Steve Clarke’s side would mean more to Scottish fans than their wedding day!”

Coming in behind a Scotland win would be the big day at just 14 percent, England winning the tournament at five percent and folks' graduation day at four percent.
