FC Midtjylland boss Bo Henriksen is confident his side can knock Celtic out of the Champions League.

The Danish side were drawn with the Hoops in this morning's second qualifying round, giving Ange Postecoglou a difficult start to life in the hot seat.

Celts won't fear their opponents but Henriksen is convinced his players - who finished second in last season's Superliga, one point behind Brondby - can dispatch their foes and progress.

Though he acknowledges the quality Celts have in their ranks. "It is a top class team in Europe," he told the Midtjylland club website. "This can be seen in both budget and coefficient points, but we believe in the possibility. We believe we can beat them and we are really fine with them.

"It will be two cool battles on life and death, where we really have to go out and fight for it."

Henriksen believes his side may have the edge in terms of their physicality and he predicts a "wild" two-legged tie.

"Of course we have an opportunity to beat them, and we must do everything for that," he added. "They are known to always fight and work hard, but we have some of the same qualities and we can push them physically. It will no doubt be two wild matches with everything at stake. We're looking forward to it."

The manager - who formerly played for the likes of Bristol Rovers during his career - is delighted that he and his men have the opportunity to represent their country in Europe once again this season. Having previously done so in previous seasons, including in qualifiers for the Europa League against Rangers

But he is clear that when they step out onto the pitch at Parkhead and MCH Arena his charges are doing it for their own pride and for their club. "It is part of our self-understanding," he concluded when discussing the tournament. "It is our vision and ambition that we will in Europe every year. We have proven that we can be part of where it is fun, and then we have to represent Denmark, but most importantly ourselves."
