Chris Sutton has warned Celtic their Champions League qualifier won't be easy.

The Hoops face FC Midtjylland in the second round of qualifying after being picked out the hat alongside the Danish outfit.

Both sides finished second in their respective leagues last season so missed out on the Champions path but will look at the two-legged affair as a winnable tie.

And former Celtic hitman Sutton, when discovering who Ange Postecoglou's side will meet, simply tweeted on social media: "Not easy".

Midtjylland faced Rangers back in 2019 in Europa League qualifying and the Light Blues managed a 7-3 aggregate victory. They won 4-2 in Denmark and then 3-1 at Ibrox.

Meanwhile FCM boss Bo Henriksen reckons his side can overcome Celts. He said: "Of course we have an opportunity to beat them, and we must do everything for that," he added.

"They are known to always fight and work hard, but we have some of the same qualities and we can push them physically. It will no doubt be two wild matches with everything at stake. We're looking forward to it."
