Celtic and Rangers' colts have discovered their Lowland League fixtures for the new season following the controversial decision to allow the pair to join the division.

There has been anger from several clubs in the fifth tier and beyond after the Old Firm clubs paid £25,000 each to have themselves added to the Lowland League in a bid to give their youngsters a chance to play competitive football.

Both Steven Gerrard and John Kennedy believed the move would benefit Scottish football as a whole and a majority voted the pair of clubs in during a ballot.

Now both clubs have learned who they will square-off against this season.

Celtic B begin their campaign away to Bonnyrigg Rose while Gers start at home against Bo'ness United, that game takes place on opening day, July 17.

Other fixtures Celtic fans will be looking out for is East Kilbride on July 24 and then derby day against the Light Blues on July 31.

Rangers, meanwhile, will also be looking forward to the first clash against their fierce rivals but will be looking out for their clash with Berwick Rangers on October 2.
