Armstrong Okoflex is in London to finalise a move from Celtic to West Ham.
Herald and Times Sport understands the Hoops youngster travelled down south to complete the move after the Hammers made their interest known this summer.
Okoflex, 19, joined Celtic back in 2019 but struggled to push through from the academy side and into the first-team under Neil Lennon.
The attacker made his debut last season while Celts were down to the bare bones due to a Covid scare following Christopher Jullien's positive diagnosis after the Dubai trip.
He played against Hibs in a 1-1 draw and then again in a goalless draw at home to Livingston.
It is understood West Ham boss David Moyes is a fan of the player and it is likely he will put pen to paper on a contract this month.
We told previously how Okoflex was close to a switch from Parkhead to Huddersfield only for the Championship club to pull the plug at the eleventh hour on deadline day.
Brendan Rodgers brought the youngster to Glasgow from Arsenal. He has been capped at youth level, the under-19s, for Republic of Ireland.
