EVERY football fan’s greatest companion the Wee Red Book is making its comeback this season.

Jacqueline Brogan, who co-edits the Wee Red Book, said: "Every issue of the Wee Red Book is special in my eyes, but this years is very unique, the year of Covid, the year of transition for Celtic and the year Rangers won their first title in 10 years.

"We seen Derek McInnes leaving Aberdeen after eight years in charge and Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell step down after 17 years at the helm.

"Plus Celtic’s captain Scott Brown leaving after 14 years at the club to join Aberdeen, who seen that coming?

"And not forgetting Scotland reaching their first tournament in 23 years. You can’t say it has not been interesting.

"At the start of the season I was worried if all the clubs would make it through the season, but thankfully they all have and we look ahead to season 2021-22."
