Odsonne Edouard has been pictured training for Celtic today amid ongoing transfer speculation.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Parkhead this summer with the likes of Leicester City and West Ham being credited with an interest.

The striker has netted 74 goals for the club over a three season spell and the Hoops hoped to rake in a hefty fee having spent £9million to bring him in from PSG - who will also expect a massive chunk of his eventual price thanks to a sell-on clause.

Celtic's official photographer snapped Edouard during training today as Ange Postecoglou continued preperations ahead of the Hoops' Champions League qualifiers.

Celtic take on Danish side Midtjylland in the second round of qualifying on July 20 and Aussie Postecoglou is keen to  add to his squad as soon as possible.

“It’s a challenging time all round the world in terms of signing players and the ability to even watch players these days is very difficult,” he said.

“But the club is working awfully hard and I will push them as hard as I can and we are hoping we can make some announcements very, very soon.

“Certainly there’s some emergency around at least a couple of positions, particularly with this game coming up in four weeks’ time.”
