ANGE POSTECOGLOU has named his first Celtic team for the friendly against Sheffield Wednesday.

It's the first time the new Hoops boss will see his players in a match-day setting for their pre-season clash at Dragon Park in Newport.

Celtic are away in Wales preparing for the new season with matches against The Owls and Charlton before travelling to Bristol City.

Postecoglou's side features a host of young talents as well as first-team players Vasilis Barkas, Stephen Welsh and Ismaila Soro.

Youngsters Adam Montgomery, Dane Murray and Anthony Ralston all feature in the back line.

Liam Shaw makes hid debut for the Hoops in the warm-up clash alongside Kerr McInroy and Ewan Henderson who join Soro in midfield.

Striker Albian Ajeti, who played a bit-part role last term, has been named captain of the team for the friendly match. He is joined up top by Owen Murray.

It's expected a number of changes will be made during the match with former Wednesday player Osaze Urhoghide set to feature.
