CELTIC continue their pre-season with a clash against Charlton in Wales.

The Hoops are training at Dragon Park in Newport and already claimed a 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday in their pre-season opener.

They'll now take on League One side Charlton on Saturday as players build match fitness before the Champions League double header against FC Midtjylland later this month.

Celtic are expected to be without James Forrest, Christopher Jullien and Leigh Girffiths for the friendly match.

Forrest missed the pre-season opener after being identified as a close contact of a Covid case, but it's not known when he will rejoin the squad.

Jullien has remained in Glasgow to build up his fitness after a long injury layoff last season.

And Leigh Grifftiths won't feature after being sent home from the training as the club investigate claims he sent inappropriate messages to an underage girl.
