Scotland and Rangers hero Ally McCoist has fired a cheeky dig at England ahead of Sunday's Euro 2020 final.

Gareth Southgate's outfit will go up against Italy at Wembley after they booked their place in the final following victory over Denmark last night.

Ex-Arsenal star Ray Parlour hailed England for their European Championship run on talkSPORT today saying: "It will be amazing for the country, amazing for the economy and I am sure the party will go into next week."

But McCoist was quick to have a cheeky pop at Scotland's neighbours as he detailed his choice of tipple for Sunday evening.

He joked: "I don't know whether to go with Moretti or Peroni, or go to Amarone to watch it!"

Host Alan Brazil then responded: "Well I won’t have a beer next two weeks [if England win], so there you go.”

McCoist, quick as a flash, then replied: “You can’t beat that, if England win it there is 'big Al’ saying he won’t have a beer for two weeks.

“Just to counter that, if England do win it I’ll have a drink every day for two weeks."
