ANGE POSTECOGLOU says he hasn't given Leigh Griffiths a second thought since the striker was sent home from the club's training camp in Wales.

Griffiths was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing by police yesterday after being accused of sending inappropriate messages to two schoolgirls.

But Postecoglou says that his focus is firmly on the players who are still with the squad, and he will deal with Griffiths when he returns to Lennoxtown today.

“You know how much time I have spent thinking about that?" Postecoglou said. “You’ve asked me and I’ve just thought about it.

“We’ll let it run its course and once it’s done and we get back up to Scotland then we’ll deal with it then.

“I’ve not spoken to him."

The Celtic manager was happier to discuss the arrival of winger Liel Abada, who signed for the club for £3.5m from Maccabi Petah Tikva yesterday, though he was coy over defender Carl Starfelt, who is believed to have completed a medical ahead of his own move to Glasgow.

“I’m not a doctor so I can’t talk about medicals," he said. "All I can confirm is Liel is here and we’re working hard on more.

“It’s good to get Leil in. He’s a good young player and who had a good season.

“I’ve been keen to add to our attacking options and he is one who has the attributes we are looking for when it comes to the type of football we want to play.

“He’s quick and exciting, and he scores goals. He will be up at Lennoxtown by Friday and we’ll see what kind of condition he’s in. I’m assuming he can hit the ground running.

“We’re working hard on others. The idea is to get them in as soon as we can, but the world is a complicated place at the moment.

“It’s not as easy as putting people on planes and they are here in a day.

“We’re working through it. I’m confident we will have more in the building in the next week or so."
