Former Celtic superscout John Park is set to be announced as Blackburn Rovers' head of recruitment.
Park is well known to Hoops fans having recruited the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Fraser Forster and Victor Wanyama during his spell at Parkhead.
His most recent role was in Poland with Legia Warsaw but Herald and Times Sport understands the talent spotter fancies a challenge back in the UK and Rovers was the ideal fit.
Tony Mowbray, the current Rovers manager, already knows Park and how he works and the pair will link up together again at Ewood Park.
Park has been linked with a potential return to Celtic in recent years but that speculation never materialised into anything concrete.
He was also earmarked previously for Falkirk's director of football role back in 2019.
