SCOTT BROWN couldn't resist a dig at Rangers after Aberdeen's impressive 5-1 rout of BK Hacken in their Europa Conference League qualifier.

The former Celtic midfielder ribbed the Ibrox club over their two 5-1 losses to Celtic as he said he "really likes" the scoreline.

The Hoops beat their rivals 5-1 both at Celtic Park and at Ibrox in the 2016/17 season.

And Brown was quick to joke about the derby wins, despite Rangers reclaiming the Premier League title last season.

Posting on Instagram, Brown wrote:"Great result and performance from the lads. Great to get fans back in the ground and on my debut as well. Plus really do like a 5-1 score line".

Stirring the pot, Dons striker Christian Ramirez tagged ex-Rangers kid Ross McCrorie, writing: "@ross_mccrorie he’s taking a jab at you with that 5-1 score line again mate….", before Brown cheekily replied "would I ever do that".

Sharing a laughing and facepalm emoji, McCrorie wrote: "Broony man".

Responding to McCrorie, the Aberdeen skipper added: "didn’t say a word pal".
