Celtic crashed out of the Champions League this evening after a dismal Midtjylland showing.
The Hoops flopped in Denmark despite taking the lead in the second-half.
Celts struggled to make anything stick at the top end of the pitch and were left ruing missed chances as they fall into Europa League qualifying.
It was a decent start for Celts who opened the scoring three minutes into the second-half.
Callum McGregor chested the ball down on the edge of the area following a cleared corner and sent an absolute worldy into the top corner of the net. That, thanks to the 1-1 draw last week in the first-leg, gave Celts the lead in the tie.
But after sub James Forrest missed a sitter, Awel Mabil headed a leveller.
It took extra-time for FCM to seal their second, and the winner, through Raphael Onyedika Nwadike.
Celtic now face Czech side Jablonec in Europa League qualifying.
