Chris Sutton has torn into the Celtic board and claims Ange Postecoglou has been dealt the "worst hand" of any Hoops boss in 20 years.
The retired striker has not been shy in criticising the board in recent times and he once again let rip for the club's failure to get business done earlier this summer.
It comes after the Celts crashed out of the Champions League qualifiers at the first hurdle in a dire 3-2 aggregate defeat to Midtjylland this evening.
No surprise Celtic going out. Ange Postecoglou has been dealt the worst hand of any Celtic manager in the last 20 years. The powers that be should be ashamed of dealing him this hand. Years of acting too slow and bringing in players too late but this season is something else.

Sutton has absolved Postecoglou for the disaster and criticised the hierarchy for not investing in new players soon enough.
The Hoops knew they faced an overhaul in playing staff ahead of the new season, but Sutton believes they have failed their new manager. "No surprise Celtic going out," the Englishman tweeted.
