ANGE POSTECOGLOU has urged his players to give something back to their supporters when they finally welcome back a full house to Celtic Park next week.

The club confirmed yesterday that they will be able to host a capacity crowd for the second leg of their Europa League qualifier against FK Jablonec on Thursday night.

And Postecoglou says the Celtic supporters - as the 'soul' of the club - deserve a performance to repay their backing during a difficult 12 months for the club.

"I’m super excited," Postecoglou said. "It will be my first experience of it.

"The players who have been here for a while really missed it last year. It’s such an important part of this football club. The supporters are the soul of this club. When they’re not there, it just doesn’t feel the same.

"Having a full stadium next week is going to be special. We’ve got to give something back and hopefully give them some hope and belief about the season ahead."

Postecolgou was pleased with the impact of his new signings on the first leg win over Jablonec, and he says that the likes of Joe Hart will only get better from here.

"It’s not ideal but we have kind of had to do [throw them in] in the last few games," he said.

"We did it with Carl (Starfelt) and Kyogo (Furuhashi) at the weekend. We don’t have time to waste.

"We have brought these guys in for a reason. Joe felt good about starting. He has had a pre-season so there wasn’t anything fitness wise we needed to worry about.

"He will get a better understanding of the game. He didn’t have a lot to do. He pulled off an important save at the end.

"He will get a better understanding of how we want to play and how we want to defend. I’m sure that experience will help him with that."
