Celtic look to have signed former Rangers youngster Ciaran Dickson.

The ex-Gers academy graduate departed Ibrox earlier this summer after failing to agree upon an extension.

Dickson, 19, made his first-team debut under Steven Gerrard against Falkirk in the Betfred Cup last season and was considered a serious prospect at the club.

But now it appears that the Hoops will benefit from his talents in the future.

A photo emerged on social media showing Dickson holding up his new Celts jersey wearing the number 51.

Glasgow Times:

It is expected he will join the B-team at Parkhead as they compete in the Lowland League this term.

Following Dickson's debut for the Light Blues, Gerrard was full of praise for the teen. Speaking after the game the manager said: "I thought young Dickson was terrific. He played with energy, personality and character. He’s the type who will never let me down.

“He’s probably had a similar upbringing to myself in that he knows what it means to represent Rangers and the shirt.”
