Rangers’ Europa League opponents Lyon will be without FIVE top stars after the Ligue 1 side confirmed their squad for Thursday’s clash at Ibrox.
However, former Liverpool attacker and dangerman Xherdan Shaqiri has made the squad despite suggestions to the contrary.
The pair will face off in the opening match of Europa League group A but Peter Bosz’ side will be have to make do without some of their top stars.
While it’s been widely reported that former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele would miss the match, the French side will also be without Leo Dubois, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Thiago Mendes and Tino Kadewere.
Their squad to face Rangers reads: Goalkeepers: Lopes, Pollersbeck, Bonnevie.
Defenders: Emerson, Henrique, Boateng, Denayer, Diomande, Da Silva, Lukeba, Gusto.
Midfielders: Aouar, Bruno, Caqueret, Keita, Paqueta, Shaqiri.
Attackers: Cherki, Barcola, Slimani, Toko Ekambi.
