KYOGO FURUHASHI has issued a hopeful injury update to Celtic fans.
The Hoops hitman has taken to social media this evening to tell supporters he is aiming to return to action soon.
Ange Postecoglou and his side were rocked during the most recent international break as the striker sustained a knee injury while playing for Japan.
It has since been confirmed by Postecoglou that Kyogo will miss at least four weeks of action as a result of the knock.
In a huge blow to Celtic, the injury means Kyogo is likely to miss around seven games - as the club's Europa League campaign gets underway tomorrow versus Real Betis.
And as the Parkhead side look to find a solution to their striking woes - with new Bhoy Georgios Giakoumakis yet to make his debut - Kyogo has posted a message to Celts fans on Instagram to provide some positive thoughts.
Accompanying a pic of himself celebrating in a Celtic top, he wrote: "Looking forward."
The striker's social media post has racked up well over 17,000 likes already after just a matter of hours.
Albian Ajeti looks likely to lead the line in Seville tomorrow evening as the club's Europa League Group G opener approaches.
