THE "tough crowd" at Ibrox will help to motivate Lyon, insists Karl Toko Ekambi.
The Cameroon striker remembers the atmosphere well having already played there for Villarreal in a 0-0 stalemate three years ago.
And the Lyon hitman has warned the Light Blues that the hostile atmosphere will only spur the French side on more.
Speaking to the media to preview the Group A Europa League opener, he said: "I've played here with Villarreal before. We know it's a tough crowd.
“We're also used to playing in lively stadiums. It's what we love doing, it's what motivates us. We've little time to prepare for the match.
“We first have to apply our playing principles, think about ourselves and our game then we will see how to put our opponent under pressure.
"We had a better sense of control in our last game, against Strasbourg.
“Tomorrow it will be a whole different game, away from home, with a different opponent and another prize on the line. We will give our all.
“It's a European competition with big teams. Then there will be the teams who come in from the Champions League. We are motivated and we want to do well.”
