Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has issued an injury update on star striker Alfredo Morelos.
The Colombian dropped to the bench against Motherwell today after picking up a knock against Lyon during the week in the Europa League.
Fashion Sakala started in his place and ahead of proceedings Gerrard explained Morelos' absence.
He told Rangers TV: “Alfredo Morelos has had a bit of a tight hamstring I don’t think it would have been sensible to throw him into this game.
“We have important games to come so I wanted to protect him from himself today.
“We have him on the bench if need be. I also think Fashion has showed bright cameos in the past two games.
“Hopefully he is going to explode today we have put him in and given him the opportunity.
“He is fit and ready now. He is settled now it is on him to go and perform."
