Alan Brazil has urged Jack Wilshere to contemplate a move to Scotland as he searches for a new club.

The former Arsenal man is currently a free agent after leaving Bournemouth in the summer and he is currently training with Italian side Como to keep up his fitness.

Brazil, who made 13 appearances for Scotland, reckons Wilshere would be the perfect fit for Ange Postecoglou at Celtic.

He told talkSPORT: "By the way, Scottish football's not slow you know.

"It's lively up there, as one or two people have found out when they've gone up there.

"But I think the Celtic fans would take to him if he found his form, with his dribbling skills and taking the ball and running at defenders.

"I think they'd give him a chance, they really would."
