Chris Sutton says Celtic's win over Aberdeen was "uglyish" but the Parkhead hero admits it was much needed.

Ange Postecoglou's side picked up all three points at Pittodrie thanks to goals from Kyogo and Jota with Lewis Ferguson grabbing a goal for the Dons.

Writing on Twitter, Sutton reacted to the result saying: "Not convincing second half from Celtic but an uglyish win for Ange Postecoglou was much needed.

"Kyogo and Jota two of Postecoglou’s signings with the important goals… Aberdeen were good second half…"

Celtic remain in sixth place after their victory with Aberdeen also remaining in ninth.

The Hoops' victory was their first on the road since February 14 and a first away win Ange Postecoglou.
