STEVE CLARKE has named his starting Scotland XI to face the Faroe Islands tonight.

The Scots take on the Group F minnows in Tórshavn as they aim to keep up their good form, and make it four wins from their last five games.

Saturday's side that beat Israel in such dramatic fashion were fantastic.

Che Adams was the only player from that team who definitely wouldn't be able to play again tonight, after dropping out of the squad through injury.

But he is joined by Nathan Patterson and Callum McGregor in dropping out of Saturday's side.

Grant Hanley comes back into the defence, with Scott McTominay being pushed into midfield.

Patterson has been named on the subs bench, with Newcastle's Ryan Fraser starting in what appears to be the right-wing-back role.

Ryan Christie - who was subbed on for Adams against Israel - starts up top with Lyndon Dykes.

Scotland XI: Gordon, Hendry, Hanley, Tierney, Fraser, McTominay, Gilmour, Robertson, McGinn, Christie, Dykes

Subs: Kelly, McLaughlin, O'Donnell, McGregor, Ferguson, McKenna, Cooper, Armstrong, Turnbull, Nisbet, Patterson, McLean
