RANGERS star Kemar Roofe celebrated his first goal for Jamaica in the 2-0 win over Honduras.
The striker scored the opening goal in the World Cup qualifier in South America in the early hours of this morning.
It was his first for the national team coming in his fourth outing for the Reggae Boyz after deciding to play for Jamaica.
Roofe showed his striking instinct to turn home team-mate Shamar Nicholson's shot, ramming it into the top corner from close range.
It was a night of firsts for Jamaica as Oniel Fisher doubled the lead with his first goal on the international stage with ten minutes left.
The result gave Jamaica their only win of the qualifying group stage so far as they sit on five points after six matches.
Mexico top the group on 14 points with USA on 11.
Roofe now faces a long journey back to Glasgow ahead of Rangers' Scottish Premiership clash with Hearts on Saturday.
