SPARTA PRAGUE will NOT face any action from UEFA after their fans booed Rangers star Glen Kamara.

European football's governing body have concluded there was 'insufficient evidence' of racist abuse being directed at the Gers midfielder - who was sent off in the game.

On his every touch of the ball from the first whistle until that moment, the 10,000-strong crowd made up of schoolkids booed Kamara.

It came after the Finn was racially abused by Slavia Prague defender Ondrej Kudela, with the Czech being punished with a ten-match ban after being found guilty by UEFA.

Now, the governing body have now announced they will not take any further action against Sparta Prague over the booing of Kamara by their fans after completing their investigation.

A statement read: "In accordance with Article 31(4) of the Uefa Disciplinary Regulations, a UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector was appointed to conduct a disciplinary investigation regarding potential discriminatory incidents which allegedly occurred during the 2021/22 Uefa Europa League group stage match between AC Sparta Praha and Rangers FC played on 30 September 2021.

"The investigation has now concluded that there was insufficient evidence of racism or discriminatory conduct at the match to warrant the opening of disciplinary proceedings against AC Sparta Praha."
