BRENDAN RODGERS is now the joint favourite to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.

Pressure is growing on the Norwegian with the Old Trafford outfit who suffered their third straight defeat on Saturday.

Leicester City boss Rodgers oversaw a win for the Foxes against United yesterday and he has also been linked with Newcastle job.

Last week though he ruled himself out, saying: "I'm 100 per cent committed to Leicester City. I've got a contract until 2025. I absolutely love being here and I'm fortunate.

"I've got a great chief executive who runs the club, a director of football who I've got a really close relationship with and a group of players I really enjoy working with.

"We have an infrastructure that allows us to really compete.

"As long as they don't want to move me on, I'm very happy here."

Rodgers is joint favourite for the Man United gig alongside former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at 4/1.

Antonio Conte (5/1), Zinedine Zidane (12/1), and Julian Nagelsmann (14/1) are also in the running.
