TWO games, two defeats.

That's how Rangers' Europa League record reads so far this campaign.

Steven Gerrard's side desperately need to get going on their European quest.

And they need to get three points against Brondby tonight to ensure they get back on track.

Time is running out to earn enough points to qualify for the last-32 of the competition.

But a double-header against Group A's bottom ranked side should pose a great opportunity to gain maximum points for the Light Blues.

Midfielder Glen Kamara is suspended for this one having been sent off in the defeat to Sparta Prague last time out.

The Finn is joined by the injured Ryan Jack, Filip Helander, and Ryan Jack on the sidelines.

So who will start for Gerrard on Matchday Three at Ibrox tonight? Here's what Herald & Times Sport reckon.

Allan McGregor will play in goals, there's little to no doubt of that - unless of course he's picked up a last-minute injury in training. Despite the veteran's big error against Hearts, he remains the best keeper at the club.

At right-back, it looks likely James Tavernier will keep his place. While Nathan Patterson is a huge emerging talent, Tav is the captain and deserves to play. Not to mention he dead ball and goal threats.

Connor Goldson will anchor the defence as per usual. He will likely be partnered by Leon Balogun - with Gerrard very short on alternatives at the moment. Helander remains on the sidelines with injury, while Jack Simpson is NOT in the Europa League squad and Nikola Katic is out on loan.

Borna Barisic will complete the defence at left-back, having been given the nod for the top of the table clash against Hearts.

Into the midfield three and John Lundstram will be joined by Steven Davis and Joe Aribo.

Ex-Sheffield United ace Lundstram will be deployed on the right of that midfield, playing from a deeper role. After a difficult start, the Englishman has stepped up to the mark at Ibrox and his run in the team deserves to continue. His energy in this game could be key to earning a big result.

Davis needs no introduction. Everyone knows what he brings and Rangers simply are still a better team with the Northern Irishman included.

Aribo often moves in to the front three on European nights to add that little bit of caution and added protection to the midfield. However, tonight, we reckon he will play in the midfield three for his power and energy, with the license to break forward when the patterns of play allow.

Into the forward line, Ianis Hagi and Kemar Roofe will fill in the inverted winger positions, while star man Alfredo Morelos will surely get the nod at No.9.

The latter has an excellent record in the Europa League - as he's shown over the past three seasons - and his club need him to produce tonight.

Hagi is on form and with Kent out, his trickery and eye for a pass can't be underestimated.

Roofe's fire power and overall impressive scoring record means he could be preferred to Fashion Sakala.
