CELTIC starlet Karamoko Dembele has revealed he has had surgery after suffering a setback in his return from a fractured ankle.
The youngster, 18, has been sidelined since the injury blow in a pre-season friendly against Bristol City in July.
And Dembele has revealed there have been some issues with the healing process meaning he's had to go under the knife.
Sharing the news on Instagram this afternoon Dembele posted an image of himself recovering in hospital.
He wrote: "Unfortunately I've had some problems with the healing process of my ankle fracture so I've had to get surgery done,Inshallah back on the field soon!"
Dembele had featured in a number of squads in the build-up to the new season before picking up the injury.
He's made eight appearances for Celtic, so far scoring one goal in his fledgling career.
