RANGERS defender Leon Balogun has limped out of tonight's Europa League clash against Brondby at Ibrox.

The Nigerian defender was replaced by Calvin Bassey after picking up what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

Balogun opened the scoring with a stunning header in the first half from a James Tavernier corner.

Kemar Roofe doubled Gers' lead on 30 minutes when he diverted home a Morelos strike that was saved.

Meanwhile, a Rangers photographer has been hit with a coin from the away end at Ibrox.

The away support lobbed objects at Gers captain James Tavernier during the first half.

BT Sport presenter Darrell Currie confirmed at half-time that a coin had hit a photographer and police had to step in to hault crowd trouble.

He said: "I mentioned some of the trouble in the away end, mostly coming from the Brondby fans.

"It looked like they were trying to get through the netting that was separating them from the Rangers fans.

"Objects were thrown and I'm disappointingly having to report that a photographer was has been hurt he's been hit by a coin and was attended to down there, but it does look like the stewards have got everything back under control for now.

"Let's hope it continiues that way."
