FORMER Celtic striker Chris Sutton and Ibrox great Ally McCoist have poked fun at each other's managerial records as the pair traded jokes on BT Sport's Scottish Football Extra.

McCoist got the ball rolling when the two pundits were asked to give their predictions for the upcoming weekend's fixtures as the Rangers hero accused Sutton of taking a cautious approach by regularly predicting goalless draws.

And McCoist couldn't help himself from having a go at his pal's record when manager of Lincoln City.

"By the way, before we go any further, you should not be allowed to predict 0-0," McCoist said.

Glasgow Times:

"That sums your Lincoln team up, by the way, Sutton. That sums your Lincoln team up, Sutton.

"0-0 - no flair, man. Have a guess, try and get goals."

But Sutton was quick to respond as he recalled McCoist's Rangers being held to a draw by Berwick Rangers in 2012.

"I saw your Rangers team draw with Berwick-upon-Tweed," Sutton said.

McCoist fired back: "Berwick-upon-Tweed is actually a place - Berwick Rangers is the name of the team, ya dumpling!"
