Allan McGregor 6

Could do very little to prevent Martin Boyle’s first-half hat-trick.

James Tavernier 5

A wasteful afternoon from the Rangers skipper. His final ball was lacking, his shots lacked accuracy and he regularly elected to ignore better-placed team-mates in order to have a go himself.

Connor Goldson 6

A solid enough showing from the centre-half. Didn’t do all that much wrong.

Leon Balogun 4

Never looked comfortable with being asked to play out from the back. Often panicked in the face of pressure, hoofing the ball into the stands or aimlessly up the park.

Borna Barisic 5

Didn’t look confident in dealing with Boyle’s pace as Hibs regularly found joy down his side of the pitch.

Steven Davis 5

Gave away a first-half penalty for a clumsy challenge on Boyle. Good distribution in possession.

Glen Kamara 6

Kept things ticking over in the middle but was guilty of a lack of urgency on occasion. Often found himself in good areas but was unable to capitalise on them.

Scott Arfield 6

Went close early on and showed good instincts to be in the right area as he offered Rangers a flicker of hope with his first-half strike.

Joe Aribo 7

Comfortably Rangers’ best player at Hampden. His neat footwork and impressive balance made the Nigeria internationalist a real threat in one v ones.

Ryan Kent 4

An evening to forget for the Englishman. Didn’t win his individual battles and offered little in the final third.

Alfredo Morelos 4

Spurned an early opportunity. Struggled to find space in between Hibs’ back three and was effectively marked out of the game.
