KRIS BOYD never shies away from the chance of a wind-up while on punditry duty for Sky Sports.

On Wednesday night, Ryan Porteous' error to give away a penalty against Rangers was too good for him not to have a go.

The Hibs defender caught Ryan Kent in the box inside the final ten-minutes of the game at Easter Road.

Kemar Roofe would score the spot-kick to extend Rangers' lead at the top of the Premiership to seven points.

While Boyd admitted the penalty was of the soft variety, he couldn't resist a pop at Porteous in the wake of the call.

The defender of course took the chance to mimic Steven Gerrard in his post-match interview last week as Hibs beat Rangers 3-1 to reach the Premier Sports Cup final at Hampden.

He said: "Do I look happy? Don't ask silly questions then."

Glasgow Times:

And Boyd said: "We talked about it at the top of the show. Ryan Kent faces you up and he can go either way.

"When Scott Arfield came on, I thought he made a difference, he started to get into positions.

"But when you are right in front of the referee and you give him that opportunity to make a decision there.

"When you look at Porteous there, he doesn't look happy.

"Just here, when it happens. There, for me, there is enough. It is in the soft category but there is enough.

"He definitely doesn't look happy with that one."
