NEIL LENNON could be set for a return to management with Ipswich Town searching for a new manager.

The Blues parted company with Paul Cook at the weekend and have placed John McGreal in interim charge.

Now the Daily Mirror report that Lennon could be set to replace Cook at the Portman Road Stadium as a he eyes a return to management.

Mark Bircham and Neil Harris are currently the favourites for the Ipswich gig in the bookies market, while Lennon is priced at 33/1. 

The former Celtic and Hibs gaffer has been out of football since he departed Parkhead in February, but he is keen to get back into management as soon as possible.

Lennon was previously linked with the Irish managerial post as pressure mounted on Stephen Kenny.
