MOUSSA DEMBELE insists he has full faith in boss Peter Bosz to turn around Lyon's domestic campaign ahead of their Europa League clash with Rangers.

The champions will face Bosz's side aiming to inflict a first Group A defeat this term as they round off the section and look ahead to the knockout round draw next week.

Whilst Rangers have won their first four matches under the guidance of Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Lyon head into the tie on the back of a 2-2 draw with Bordeaux that leaves them a lowly 12th in the Ligue 1 standings.

The Europa League has given Bosz some respite from his domestic difficulties in recent months and former Celtic striker Dembele is determined to play his part after returning to action following a period out through injury.

Dembele said: "Obviously, we want to win all the matches, even if we know that we are qualified. There is nothing better than a European match for us to get moving in the right direction. There was a lot of frustration after Bordeaux.

"Like any player, I want to start every game. I respect the coach's choices, I am there for the group. I will do everything to give my all on the pitch.

"We give up a lot of chances. We need to talk to each other and unite.

"I am concentrating on [Thursday's] game. We all trying to go in the right direction. It's not an easy time for us, but it's part of football.

"We must continue to work. It was my first bone injury, but it's part of the game.

"Peter has given us a lot since his arrival. We still trust him. It is together that we will get out of this bad patch.

"At Olympique Lyonnais, there is no match without stakes; we will do everything to win."
