James Forrest adds to injury worries
It was another blow for Celtic when Forrest dropped to the turf after feeling n injury in the opening stages.
The winger required treatment after just 17 minutes when he sat down after attempting to cross the ball into the box.
It's a frustrating setback for Forrest who is only coming back from a lengthy time on the sidelines.
But it adds to major injury concerns in th attacking areas with Kyogo, Albian Ajeti and Jota all missing the win over Motherwell with fitness issues.
Joe Hart makes massive contribution
In a match where Celtic had 26 shots it's strange that Joe Hart's contribution was as vital as it turned out to be.
Hart was first involved as he raced out to the edge of his box to punch the ball clear prompting cries for handball from Motherwell players and staff.
He then collided with Kevin van Veen in a bizarre incident with the Motherwell man booked as he kicked the ball before being caught by Hart who was attempting to take a free-kick.
And after an unusual beginning to his afternoon, Hart proved his worth with a sensational double-save which proved vital as they held onto a one-goal margin.
Sean Goss' shot was deflected and wrong-footed Hart but the keeper sprung back to his feet to claw it clear, Tony Watt closed in on the rebound but again Hart threw his body in the way to make a superb stop.
In matches like the one at Parkhead this afternoon, those saves were just as important as Tom Rogic's winner.
Ange Postecoglou's tactical tweaks to continue?
The Celtic boss made nine changes as first-team stars returned to the starting line-up after a fringe XI against Betis in midweek.
But there were no recognised strikers in the squad with David Turnbull asked to play centrally in attack.
And while it was a frustrating afternoon in terms of missed chances, Celtic certainly created a number of scoring opportunities for themselves.
Turnbull did well in the unfamiliar role all things considered but it shouldn't come as too much of a shock if Postecoglou makes further tweaks to the side as he copes with a growing injury list in attack.
