KRIS BOYD has delivered his immediate reaction to Rangers' glamour tie with Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.
The Ibrox side were drawn out of the hat to face the German giants in the knockout play-off draw at 12noon.
It is of course an exciting prospect for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men to go up against the likes or Erling Haaland and Judde Bellingham over the two legs.
However, Dortmund were undoubtedly one of the toughest teams Rangers could have drawn.
Ex-Gers star Boyd was on hand to give his instant reaction to the draw.
And he says wonderkid Haaland will not be excited about the thought of playing against Connor Goldson.
Smiling when asked on Sky Sports, he said: "Here we go.
"I’m not too sure how Haaland will be, because I’m sure he’ll not be looking forward to facing Connor Goldson.
“He’s done really well, but he’s not come up against Goldosn yet so we’ll see what happens. It’s obviously going to be a tough tie."
Rangers could have faced eight Champions League drop-outs in total.
They were Barcelona, Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Porto, Sevilla, Sheriff, Zenit or Atalanta.
Rangers will travel to Dortmund on Thursday, February 17.
They will then host them in the return tie on Thursday, February 24.
The eight winners of the ties in this play-off round will meet the eight Europa League group winners in the round of 16.
These are Crevena zvezda, Eintracht Frankfurt, Galatasaray, Bayer Leverkusen, Lyon, Moncao, Spartak Moscow and West Ham.
