HEARTS and Rangers supporters raised an outstanding £24,000 for MND Scotland last Sunday.
The two clubs teamed together to help fundraise at the Premiership fixture at the weekend.
The Scottish duo have been impacted by the debilitating disease in recent years, with MND Scotland close to their hearts.
Marius Zaliukas, who also played for Gers in the 2014-15 season, passed away in October 2020 while Fernando Ricksen sadly died the year before.
Both sets of fans chose to rasie funds for the charity at the Tynecastle sell-out.
The players warmed up prior to the game with the charity logo printed on the front of their shirts.
Zaliukas and Ricksen's squad numbers of 26 and 2 respectively were also included on the special shirts.
The total sum raised from 'MND Scotland Day' reached £24,245.72.
