Celtic and Rangers’ managers Ange Postecoglou and Giovanni van Bronckhorst have purportedly been spotted in a chance meeting at a prominent West End hotspot.
The duo have been pictured at Eusebi Deli on Park Road which is a favourite of Glasgow foodies.
It’s highly unusual for managers of Glasgow’s top two clubs to be seen in each other’s company outside of the confines of a stadium given the intensity of the public glare upon their roles and the historic rivalry between them.
Rangers’ sporting director Ross Wilson also appears to be in the image that’s been widely shared on social media.
The managers will meet again in Glasgow’s East End when they face off in the New Year derby on January 2nd.
Rangers currently lead their old rivals by four points and have been rejuvenated by the Dutch manager who has won every domestic game he has played to date.
And Postecoglou's side are no slouches either as Tony Ralston’s dramatic winner in the 97th minute against Ross County means they have won nine of their last 10 games.
