CELTIC defender Cameron Carter-Vickers admits that he is considering making his loan spell in Glasgow's East End permanent - but insists that he will not make any decision until the end of the campaign.

The 23-year-old joined on season-long loan from Spurs in the summer - with Celtic reportedly inserting a clause to buy the United States internationalist for a pre-determined fee at the end of the season, should they like - and has quickly established himself as an important player in the heart of Ange Postecoglou's back line.

Carter-Vickers has only missed three matches since arriving at Parkhead and played a crucial role as Postecoglou's men lifted the Premier Sports Cup on Sunday thanks to a 2-1 win over Hibernian.

Appearing on talkSPORT, the central defender revealed he is happy and enjoying his football - but refused to be drawn on his long-term future.

"I am enjoying playing out there," he said. "It is all going well.

"I think it is a little bit too early to say [where my future lies].

"It is not purely down to me as well. Obviously, discussions are to be had at the end of the season."
