WITH the January transfer window on the horizon, Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou will be looking to strengthen his first-team squad to aid their tilt for the Premiership title.

The comings and goings of next month could shape the remainder of the campaign but looking slightly further ahead, Postecoglou also has big decisions to make on his team's future.

There are four players currently on the books at Parkhead who will be departing next summer when their contracts expire unless an agreement can be struck to persuade them to stay in Glasgow.

Ewan Henderson

Glasgow Times:

The midfielder made his first and only appearance of the season so far after clambering off the bench for the last 20 minutes of the 3-2 victory over Real Betis in the Europa League earlier this month and scored his first Celtic goal, and has featured on the bench more recently.

At 21, there is still plenty of potential for development with Henderson and loan spells with Ross County and Dunfermline will have provided an important grounding in the men's game. As an academy player, Celtic would be entitled to a development fee from any potential suitor.

Karamoko Dembele

Glasgow Times:

Excited whispers about the young winger's potential and ability have been coming out of Lennoxtown since Dembele was in his early teens. His debut came at the age of 16 when he was brought on for the second half on the final day of the season against Hearts and he caught the eye, but he still awaits his first-team breakthrough.

Dembele, now 18, made a few appearances off the bench last season but  struggled for game time while his progress this term has been set back by an ankle injury which has kept him out of the matchday squad.

Like Henderson, Dembele is also an academy player and would command a compensation fee if he were to move on.

Jota

Glasgow Times:

The Portuguese winger has been in fantastic form since arriving on loan from Benfica this summer, most notably dovetailing with Kyogo Furuhashi to devastating effect in the final third.

Jota's loan contract expires in the summer but with a buy-out clause inserted in the deal - reportedly set at around £6.5million - Celtic could sign the 22-year-old for what looks like a snip.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

Glasgow Times:

Another loanee who has impressed druing his stint in Glasgow so farr, the Spurs defender's deal is up in the summer unless a permanent transfer can be arranged.

Appearing on talkSPORT in the aftermath of Celtic's 2-1 win over Hibernian in the Premier Sports Cup final, the 23-year-old centre-back refused to be drawn on his future or the prospect of staying at Parkhead.

"I am enjoying playing out there," he said. "It is all going well. I think it is a little bit too early to say [where my future lies].

"It is not purely down to me as well. Obviously, discussions are to be had at the end of the season."
