New York Red Bulls are among several clubs looking at signing Celtic midfielder Ismaila Soro, according to a report.

The Ivory Coast star is not in Ange Postecoglou’s long-term plans and has fallen further down the pecking order after the sigining of midfielders Yosuke Ideguchi and Reo Hatate from the J-League.

The Sun reports there is also interest in the powerful midfielder from Israel where his previous success at Bnei Yehuda attracted the Hoops’ interest.

However, it is expected that a move to America, there other top flight clubs are also monitoring the situation, is the more likely option.

The 23-year-old has found game time hard to come by under the Aussie coach who has preferred Tom Rogic, David Turnbull and Callum McGregor as his starting trio.

Even if those players have been injured, James McCarthy and Nir Bitton have been picked before Soro.
