WILLIE COLLUM has been removed as the lead referee for the upcoming derby between Celtic and Rangers on February 2.
The 42-year-old was slated to take charge of the Old Firm before it was rescheduled when the winter break was brought forward.
Collum last officiated an Old Firm in March of last year, when the two rivals played out a 1-1 draw at Parkhead, but Bobby Madden has instead been given the nod for the top-of-the-table clash.
Madden's previous derby was in April last year, when Rangers ran out 2-0 winners thanks to Steven Davis' opener and Jonjoe Kenny's own goal, and last refereed a league meeting between the two Glasgow giants in September 2019.
