CELTIC have confirmed the signing of Matt O'Riley after a £1.5million fee was agreed with MK Dons.
Ange Postecoglou's side beat the likes of West Brom and Swansea to land the English midfielder and he is set to be available for this weekend's Scottish Cup tie against Alloa.
The playmaker becomes Ange Postecoglou's fifth signing this month after Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate, Yosuke Ideguchi and Johnny Kenny sealed moves to Parkhead.
The Celtic boss had been keen on midfielder Riley McGree, but pulled out of talks as the player decided his future was elsewhere and agreed a Middlesbrough move.
Explaining the McGree scenario, Postecoglou said: “I had a discussion with him and then he obviously decided he wanted to take an opportunity elsewhere, which is fine. It wasn’t really anything too drastic for us."
